Senior Account Strategist

The Senior Account Strategist will oversee key current and new business accounts with strategic thinking, creative vision and incredible communication and organization. Lafayette American is defining a new model for a creative agency — one that relies on a core group of experts and a wide network of talent for bespoke project-to-project teams. In this environment, account and project management leaders are critical. They’re the gatekeepers who think creatively, work strategically and use their keen organization and sharp communication skills to ensure consistency, calm and executional excellence at every step.


  • Manage key client and new business accounts and lead daily workload.

  • Coordinate and manage all activities necessary to meet needs of assigned projects.

  • Maintain individual project budgets and find ways to grow business opportunities.

  • Develop goals and objectives for individual projects.

  • Build contracts and scope(s) of work for key accounts and manage resources to set budget.

  • Collaborate with third-party partners to ensure plan aligns with strategic messaging and creative execution to achieve set goals and objectives.

  • Ensure all elements of program components are organized and stored for later use on all initiatives (decks, live content, analytics, reporting, etc.).

  • Represent Lafayette American and client relationships on production or at events when necessary.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in content marketing, publishing, digital media, social, etc.

  • Comfort creating budgets, scopes of work and reading / responding to contracts and proposals.

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, high EQ.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong desire to shape the future look of advertising.

  • Understanding of measurement and optimization.

  • Familiarity with project management systems and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.

  • Expertise in digital media ad formats and targeting capabilities preferred.

  • Openness to miscellaneous tasks as needs may vary from program to program.
